A glowing sunset, a dark evergreen, and light across the water. Robin hand-painted this stone in acrylics, inspired by a view of the San Juan Islands north of Seattle, Washington.
The pictured rock is currently available for $25. It measures approximately 2½ inches wide, 1½ inches tall, and 1 inch deep.
This is Robin’s happy place. She grew up camping there every summer with her large extended family. During chemotherapy, she returned a few days a week for short, easy hikes to secluded beaches, reading on the sand while her dogs swam with otters.
As Robin puts it: “I believe my heaven will look like that and, until then, it’s my happy place where I can still feel my grandfather sitting on the drift wood next to me.”
Display & protection
Unless otherwise stated, every painted stone is finished with a waterproof, UV-protective sealant to protect the colors from sun damage, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor display.
